Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP)
Providing junior and senior students with a summer research experience and an opportunity to conduct independent research projects.
Faculty-Led Authentic Research Experience (FLARE)
Offering undergraduate students who have little to no lab experience the opportunity to gain hands-on, mentored research experience and training.
Nevada INBRE Tribal Academy of Health and Science
Supporting Native American students pursuing education and careers in biomedical and health sciences through culturally relevant mentorship and guidance.
Microbiome Undergraduate Summer Boot Camp
Providing undergraduate students with a comprehensive research experience in biomedical and data sciences, focusing on microbiome research.
Regional Alliance of INBRE Networks (RAIN) Visiting Scholars
Supporting undergraduate students by providing transformative biomedical research experiences, including guided research, training and presentations.

College of Southern Nevada

Biomedical Exploration Workshop: A five-week summer program offered at the College of Southern Nevada. The program is designed to give students the opportunity to explore different career options in the biomedical sciences and gain exposure to the environments in which they would be working. Nevada State University

iSURF | INBRE Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship: The mission of iSURF is to foster faculty-mentored research as a fundamental component of undergraduate education, offering students – especially those from first-generation and underrepresented backgrounds – a multitude of benefits and providing them with a wide range of advantages to thrive in STEM career paths. Through this program, students acquire essential skills in critical analysis, problem-solving, communication and the application of research methods. Great Basin College

B(S)3N | Biological Sciences Student Support Network (NIH-INBRE): Hosted by Great Basin College, members of B(S)3N are eligible for paid employment as a lab aid, tutor, or in another science-related capacity and possible attendance to the UC Davis Pre-Health Conference or other travel/experiences. Membership in B(S)3N also affords students a comfortable study space, lockers, assistance with applications for graduate school and interviews, and access to contacts throughout the state to pursue research. They also host a free, one-week workshop each summer, which includes a trip to one or more of the professional schools at the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ. Truckee Meadows Community College
