She has also earned a diploma in Environmental Reporting, was the first runner-up in the 2022 Aqualia Journalism Award in Spain for an article on water-related issues and has been awarded three exchange opportunities by the U.S. Department of State.
Vanesa is passionate about demystifying complex scientific topics and her work aims to create platforms that help communities share their climate and science stories in engaging, multimedia formats.
