Summary

Lexi Spoon is a lecturer at the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ. She was born and raised in the Reno/Sparks area, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ in 2020, followed by a Master of Science degree in Statistics and Data Science from the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ in 2022. During her graduate studies, she was a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where she led discussion sections and taught courses including MATH 126, MATH 176, and MATH 181. Prior to returning to the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ, she worked at Clear Capital as a Data Scientist, where she spearheaded a project focused on creating a predictive model for residential appraisal turn times. Outside of teaching, she enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes alongside her fiancé, spending quality time with their French bulldog, and exploring Lake Tahoe.
